4. Components and Parts
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your dehumidifier:

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
5.2 Placement
Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in a location where the humidity is highest. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlets and outlets for proper air circulation.

5.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
5.4 Continuous Drainage Setup
For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, use the included drainage hose:
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet at the rear of the unit.
- Remove the rubber stopper from the outlet.
- Connect one end of the drainage hose to the outlet.
- Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink), ensuring it is sloped downwards to allow water to flow freely by gravity.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Turning On/Off
Press the POWER button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.
6.2 Setting Desired Humidity Level
In Dehumidification Mode, use the UP and DOWN arrows to set the desired humidity level between 35% and 85% (in 5% increments). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
6.3 Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Dehumidification Mode: Standard operation to reduce room humidity to the set level.
- Smart Dehumidification: The unit automatically maintains a comfortable humidity level between 45% and 55%.
- Continuous Dehumidification: The unit operates continuously regardless of the humidity level, ideal for very damp conditions.
- Laundry Drying Mode: Provides powerful dehumidification to help dry clothes faster.

6.4 Fan Speed
Press the FAN button to select between Silent, Medium, and Turbo fan speeds.
6.5 Timer Function
Press the TIMER button to set a delay for the unit to turn on or off (from 0.5 to 24 hours).
6.6 Ionizer Function
The ionizer function can be activated or deactivated via the INVmate II app. It helps to purify the air by releasing negative ions.

6.7 WiFi Connectivity (INVmate II App)
To connect your dehumidifier to the INVmate II app:
- Download the INVmate II app from your smartphone's app store.
- Create an account or log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your device. This typically involves putting the dehumidifier into pairing mode (refer to the app or device display for specific instructions) and connecting it to your home WiFi network.
- Once connected, you can control the dehumidifier remotely, change modes, set humidity levels, activate the ionizer, and monitor usage.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.
7.1 Cleaning the Air Filters
The dehumidifier is equipped with a mini-HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. These should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every 2 weeks or as indicated by the filter indicator) and replaced periodically.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the air inlet grille (usually located at the back).
- Carefully remove the HEPA and activated carbon filters.
- Clean the filters using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, the HEPA filter can be gently rinsed with water and allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation. The activated carbon filter should not be washed.
- Reinstall the dry filters and the air inlet grille.

7.2 Emptying and Cleaning the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. The tank should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Empty the collected water.
- Rinse the tank with clean water. For thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and soft brush, then rinse thoroughly.
- Reinsert the clean tank firmly into the unit until it clicks into place.

7.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filters are clean and dry. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, covered to protect it from dust.
