4. Setup

4.1 Mounting

The SHEHDS Zoom Par Light can be mounted in various positions:

  • Floor Standing: Use the adjustable bracket to position the light on a flat, stable surface.
  • Truss Mounting: Attach appropriate clamps (not included) to the mounting bracket and secure to a truss system. Always use a safety cable.
  • Wall Mounting: Secure the bracket to a sturdy wall using appropriate hardware. Ensure the mounting surface can support the fixture's weight.

Ensure the fixture is securely fastened and that there is sufficient space around it for ventilation.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the Power IN port on the fixture and then to a suitable power outlet (AC90-240V, 50/60Hz). Multiple units can be daisy-chained using the Power OUT port, but ensure the total current draw does not exceed the circuit's capacity.

4.3 DMX Connection

For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the DMX IN port of the first fixture. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them by connecting the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on. Terminate the last fixture in the chain with a DMX terminator (not included) for optimal signal integrity.
