3. Setup and Initial Activation

Follow these steps to set up your ArtiDiag800 BT V2.0 and activate it for first-time use.

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the screen illuminates.
2. Language Selection: On the initial setup screen, select your preferred language from the list and tap "Next".
3. Network Connection: Connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network. Select your network from the list, enter the password if prompted, and tap "OK". This is crucial for updates and registration.
4. Region and Time Zone: Select your region and time zone. Tap "Next" to proceed.
5. User Agreement: Read the user agreement and privacy policy. Tap "Agree to the above terms" and then "Next".
6. Account Registration/Login:
   • If you are a new user, tap "Create Account". Input your desired username, password, and email address. Tap "Send Verification Code" to receive a code in your email. Enter the received verification code and tap "Register".
   • If you already have an account, tap "Login" and enter your credentials.
7. Device Activation: Input the Serial Number and Activation Code found in the "PASSWORD LETTER" included in your package. Tap "Activate". A confirmation message "Congratulations, the device has been activated successfully!" will appear. Tap "OK".
8. Business Information (Optional): You may be prompted to enter business information. This step can be skipped if not applicable.

4. Operating the ArtiDiag800 BT V2.0

The ArtiDiag800 BT V2.0 is designed for intuitive operation, allowing you to quickly diagnose and perform maintenance tasks on a wide range of vehicles.

4.1. Connecting to a Vehicle

The device connects wirelessly via a Bluetooth VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) dongle.

1. Locate your vehicle's OBD2 port (usually under the dashboard).
2. Plug the Diagnostic VCI Dongle into the OBD2 port. Ensure it is securely connected.
3. The VCI dongle will automatically pair with your ArtiDiag800 BT V2.0 unit via Bluetooth, offering a wireless diagnostic range of up to 33 feet (10m).

4.2. Full System Diagnostics

Perform OE-level diagnostics across all available vehicle systems, including Engine Control Module (ECM), Transmission, ABS, Airbag, SAS, DPF, EVAP, TPMS, BMS, EPB, and more.

• Read ECU Info: Retrieve detailed information about the Electronic Control Unit.
• Read & Clear Codes: Read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) to identify issues and clear them to turn off warning lights.
• View Live Data: Monitor real-time data streams in text or merged graph format for in-depth analysis.
• Freeze Frame Data: View a snapshot of sensor readings at the moment a fault code was set.
