Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.

  • Dust Filter Cleaning: The PONOS MS4 is equipped with magnetic dust filters. Regularly remove and clean these filters to prevent dust buildup and maintain efficient airflow.
  • Internal Cleaning: Periodically use compressed air to remove dust from internal components, especially fan blades and heatsinks. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Cable Management Check: Occasionally verify that all internal cables are neatly routed and not obstructing airflow or fan operation.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PC case, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • System Not Powering On: Ensure all power cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, GPU power) are securely connected to the motherboard and components. Verify the power supply switch is in the 'ON' position. Check front panel header connections to the motherboard.
  • Fans Not Spinning/RGB Not Working: Confirm that the ARGB fans are properly connected to the internal PCB hub and the hub is receiving SATA power. If using motherboard sync, ensure the 5V ARGB header is correctly connected and motherboard software is configured. Try pressing the I/O reset button to cycle LED modes.
  • Poor Airflow/Overheating: Check if dust filters are clean and not obstructed. Ensure fans are spinning correctly and oriented for optimal airflow (front intake, rear/top exhaust). Verify no cables are blocking fan blades.
  • Loose Connections: If any components seem unstable or make unusual noises, power down the system and check all screws and connections for tightness.
