Step 2: Install the Wall Plate

Determine your wall type (wood studs or concrete/brick) and locate the mounting position. Use a stud finder to locate the center of wood studs if applicable. Mark the drilling points for the wall plate (2).

Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For wood studs, use lag bolts (B) and M8 washers (C). For concrete/brick walls, insert concrete wall anchors (A) into the drilled holes before securing the wall plate with lag bolts (B) and M8 washers (C). Use the included level (1) to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.

Step 3: Hang the TV

Carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and align them with the wall plate. Hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate. The quick-release strap design allows for easy locking and unlocking.

Operating Instructions

Quick Release Mechanism

The HOME VISION HV8401 mount features a convenient quick-release strap system. To release the TV from the wall mount, simply pull down on the two straps located at the bottom of the TV brackets. This will disengage the locking mechanism, allowing you to lift the TV off the wall plate. To re-engage, ensure the straps are pushed up and the TV brackets are properly seated on the wall plate.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

TV Not Level

If your TV appears unlevel after installation, carefully check the wall plate's horizontal alignment using a level. Adjust the wall plate if necessary by slightly loosening the mounting bolts, correcting the position, and then re-tightening them securely. Ensure the TV brackets are properly seated on the wall plate.

Difficulty Attaching TV to Wall Plate

Ensure the TV brackets are correctly installed on the back of your TV and that the quick-release straps are in the 'release' position (pulled down) when attempting to hang the TV. Verify that there are no obstructions between the TV brackets and the wall plate.

Mount Feels Loose

Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall plate mounting bolts and TV bracket screws for tightness. Ensure you have mounted the wall plate into solid wood studs or used the correct anchors for concrete/brick walls. If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
