1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.

4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 6 inches from walls or other appliances).

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your SOOPYK ice maker is straightforward:

  1. Power On: After filling the water reservoir, press the POWER button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Select Ice Size: Use the 'SMALL' or 'LARGE' buttons to select your desired ice cube size. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin its ice-making cycle. Each cycle produces 9 ice cubes in approximately 6 minutes.
  4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'ICE FULL' indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will automatically pause operation. Remove ice to resume production.
  5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will pause. Add more water to resume operation.
  6. Power Off: To stop ice production, press the POWER button again.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your ice maker.

Self-Cleaning Function

  1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
  2. Plug in the power cord.
  3. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. The unit will enter self-cleaning mode.
  4. The pump will circulate water through the ice-making box for approximately 10 minutes.
  5. After the cycle, the unit will return to standby mode.
  6. Drain the water from the reservoir using the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
  7. Refill with fresh water before resuming ice production.

Manual Cleaning

  • Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
  • Remove the ice basket.
  • Drain all water from the reservoir using the drain plug.
  • Wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
