1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your SOOPYK Portable Countertop Ice Maker. Please read these instructions thoroughly before first use and retain for future reference.

The SOOPYK Portable Countertop Ice Maker is designed to produce bullet-shaped ice cubes quickly and efficiently. It features a 1.8 L water reservoir and can produce up to 26 lbs of ice in 24 hours, with 9 ice cubes per 6-minute cycle. The unit includes a self-cleaning function and indicators for 'Ice Full' and 'Add Water'.

2. Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Allow at least 6 inches of clearance around the appliance for proper ventilation.
• Use only potable water in the water reservoir.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning or when not in use.
• Keep children away from the appliance during operation.

3. Product Components

The SOOPYK Portable Countertop Ice Maker includes the following main components:

• Main Unit: Houses the compressor, water reservoir, and ice-making mechanism.
• Control Panel: Located on the top, with indicator lights and buttons for operation.

4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 6 inches from walls or other appliances).
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section for detailed instructions.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your SOOPYK ice maker is straightforward:

1. Power On: After filling the water reservoir, press the POWER button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate.
2. Select Ice Size: Use the 'SMALL' or 'LARGE' buttons to select your desired ice cube size. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin its ice-making cycle. Each cycle produces 9 ice cubes in approximately 6 minutes.
4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'ICE FULL' indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will automatically pause operation. Remove ice to resume production.
5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will pause. Add more water to resume operation.
6. Power Off: To stop ice production, press the POWER button again.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your ice maker.

Self-Cleaning Function

1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Plug in the power cord.
3. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. The unit will enter self-cleaning mode.
4. The pump will circulate water through the ice-making box for approximately 10 minutes.
5. After the cycle, the unit will return to standby mode.
6. Drain the water from the reservoir using the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
7. Refill with fresh water before resuming ice production.

Manual Cleaning

• Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
• Remove the ice basket.
• Drain all water from the reservoir using the drain plug.
• Wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and storing or using the appliance.
