4.1 Placement

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the projector's power input port.

4.3 Initial Image Adjustment

  1. Focus: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image appears sharp and clear.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting Devices

The GROVIEW RD850 offers multiple connectivity options:

Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi)

The projector supports wireless projection for both iOS and Android devices.

  1. Select the "Screen Mirroring" or "Wireless Display" option on the projector's main menu.
  2. Ensure your mobile device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. On your iOS device, open Control Center and tap "Screen Mirroring" or "AirPlay Mirroring," then select the projector from the list.
  4. On your Android device, navigate to "Wireless Display," "Smart View," or "Cast" settings and select the projector.

Wired Connection (USB)

For iOS devices, a direct USB connection can be used. It is recommended to use the original USB data cable for your iPhone.

  1. Connect your iOS device to one of the projector's USB ports using its original USB cable.
  2. Follow any on-screen prompts on your device to allow the connection.

HDMI, AV, and USB Drive Connections

  • HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (e.g., TV Stick, laptop, game console) to the projector's HDMI port. Select the HDMI input source on the projector.
  • AV: Use the provided 3-in-1 AV cable to connect to devices with AV output. Select the AV input source.
  • USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive into a USB port. The projector will typically display a media browser to select files.
