Mesquite wood chips provide a strong, earthy, and slightly sweet smoke flavor, ideal for beef, pork, and poultry.

- Follow the instructions in section 4.2 for adding chips to your Masterbuilt electric smoker.
- Adjust the amount of chips based on desired smoke intensity and cooking duration.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Masterbuilt electric smoker.
5.1 After Each Use
- Allow the smoker to cool completely before cleaning.
- Disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the water pan, wood chip tray, and grease tray. Empty and wash them with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Clean the chrome-coated racks with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive brush or sponge.
- Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn grease, use a mild degreaser.
- Ensure all components are dry before reassembling or storing.
5.2 Long-Term Storage
If storing the smoker for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a dry, protected area, ideally covered to prevent dust and moisture accumulation.
