Setup
- Unpack the Carton: Carefully remove the outer packaging from the Shimmer Babies 12-Pack Egg Carton.
- Open the Carton: Open the clear, tinted lid of the egg carton to reveal the characters inside. You will find 8 characters still in their eggs and 4 characters already out of their eggs.

Operating Instructions
- Hatching Your Shimmer Babies: To hatch an in-egg character, gently crack the front of each baby-themed egg. The inside of the egg will reveal a hidden gender reveal – either pink for a girl or blue for a boy.
- Discovering Accessories: Each Shimmer Babies Hatchimal comes with a rattle, baby bottle, or pacifier accessory. These accessories can be held by the character or placed in its mouth.
- Identifying Characters: Use the included Collector's Sheet to identify your Shimmer Babies. There are 40 Shimmer Babies to collect, including ultra-rare Pixies and limited-edition twins. The color of a character's glittery wings indicates its birth month.
- Transforming the Carton into a Nursery Playset: The lid of the egg carton features a themed backdrop. Once all characters are hatched, the carton transforms into a nursery playset. Each cubby in the carton can serve as a relaxing napping spot for your Shimmer Babies.
