Setup and First Use
Unpacking
- Carefully remove both the toaster and kettle from their packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of both appliances with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Ariete Vintage 156 Toaster First Use
Before toasting bread for consumption, operate the toaster a few times without bread at the highest browning setting. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate odors. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.

Ariete Vintage 2877 Kettle Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Filter: The kettle has a removable filter located behind the spout. Remove the filter and rinse it under running water. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove any deposits. Reinsert the filter securely.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes (or as recommended by the descaler), then boil. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
