Product Overview

The Thunderobot Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Transmitter is a compact and efficient device designed to enable wireless audio connectivity for various gaming consoles and computers. It allows you to connect Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and earbuds to devices such as the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), PC, and laptops.

This adapter features Bluetooth 5.0 technology for stable and fast transmission with ultra-low latency, ensuring real-time audio synchronization for an immersive gaming experience. Its slim design and included USB-C to USB-A adapter make it versatile for both handheld and TV dock modes.

Setup Instructions

1. Prepare your Bluetooth Audio Device: Set your Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or earbuds into pairing mode. Refer to your audio device's manual for specific instructions on how to enter pairing mode.
2. Connect the Adapter:
   • For Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite (handheld mode): Plug the Thunderobot Bluetooth Adapter directly into the USB-C port at the bottom of your console.
   • For Nintendo Switch (TV dock mode), PS4, PS5, PC, Laptop: Use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter. Connect the Bluetooth adapter to the USB-C end of the converter, then plug the USB-A end into an available USB-A port on your device or TV dock.
3. Initiate Pairing: Once the adapter is plugged in, long press the red button on the adapter for approximately 1 second. The blue LED light on the adapter will begin to blink, indicating it is in pairing mode.
4. Successful Connection: The adapter will automatically search for and connect to your Bluetooth audio device. Once successfully paired, the blue LED light on the adapter will turn solid (stop blinking).

Note: For AirPods, open the headphone cover of your AirPods case, then long press the back pairing button of your AirPods until the pairing is successful. Then you can take out your two earpieces from your AirPods case.

Operating Instructions

Audio Transmission

Once successfully paired, audio from your connected device will be transmitted wirelessly to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The adapter supports SBC and A2DP protocols for high-quality audio output.

Voice Chat Function (Mic Support)

This adapter supports the voice chat function, allowing you to use the microphone on your connected Bluetooth headset for in-game communication or calls. Ensure your Bluetooth headset has a functional microphone.

Mute Function

The blue button on the adapter serves as a mute button. Press it once to mute your microphone, and press it again to resume audio transmission.

TV Dock Mode Support

When using your Nintendo Switch in TV dock mode, the adapter can still be used by plugging it into the USB-A port on the side of the TV dock via the included USB-C to USB-A adapter. This allows for wireless audio even when playing on a larger screen.

Case Friendly Design

The adapter features an extension design for its Type-C port, making it compatible with protective cases on your Switch, provided the case thickness is ≤1.5mm. If your Switch does not have a protective case, the adapter may not be fully inserted, but this will not cause any damage to the adapter or the Switch.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the adapter. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Storage: Store the adapter in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Handling: Handle the adapter with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
• Power: The adapter is battery-free and does not require charging. It draws power directly from the connected device.

Troubleshooting

• Cannot Pair/Connect:
  • Ensure your Bluetooth audio device is in pairing mode.
  • Make sure only one Bluetooth device is turned on at a time when attempting to pair, as the adapter will connect to the device with the strongest signal.
  • Verify the adapter's blue LED is blinking (pairing mode) or solid (connected).
  • Try unplugging and re-plugging the adapter, then re-initiating the pairing process.
• No Audio Output:
  • Confirm the adapter is successfully paired (solid blue LED).
  • Check the volume levels on both your connected device and your Bluetooth audio device.
  • Ensure the correct audio output is selected on your console/PC settings, if applicable.
• Mic Function Not Working:
  • Verify your Bluetooth headset has a built-in microphone.
  • Ensure the blue mute button on the adapter has not been pressed (it should not be muted).
  • Check microphone input settings on your console/PC.
• Limited Range/Interference:
  • The transmission distance is up to 10 meters (33 feet). Ensure you are within this range.
  • Minimize obstacles between the adapter and your audio device.
  • Avoid strong electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices.
