The NEBO Redline Flex is a versatile, high-lumen flashlight designed for everyday carry (EDC) and tactical applications. It features Flex-Power Technology, allowing it to operate with either a rechargeable 14500 battery or a standard AA disposable battery. Its durable, water-resistant construction and multiple light modes make it suitable for various environments and tasks.

Product Overview

The NEBO Redline Flex is constructed from anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring durability and impact resistance. It includes a powerful magnetic base for hands-free operation and a dual-direction steel clip for secure attachment.

Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

Your Redline Flex flashlight is equipped with Flex-Power Technology, allowing it to use either the included 14500 rechargeable battery or a standard AA disposable battery.

To install/replace batteries: Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight. Insert the chosen battery (14500 rechargeable or 1 AA disposable) with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Screw the tail cap back on securely.
Charging the 14500 rechargeable battery: The flashlight includes a Micro-USB to USB charging cable. Locate the Micro-USB port on the flashlight body (often concealed under a rotating collar or rubber cover). Connect the Micro-USB end to the flashlight and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power source. The battery can be fully recharged in a few hours.

Operating Instructions

Power Button and Light Modes

The power button is located on the side of the flashlight. Press the button to cycle through the various light modes:

High: Provides maximum illumination.
Low: Offers extended battery life with reduced brightness.
Turbo: Delivers an ultra-bright burst of light (available with 14500 rechargeable battery).
Strobe: For signaling or disorienting.

The specific lumen output and runtimes for each mode depend on the battery type used (14500 rechargeable vs. AA disposable).

Adjustable Zoom

The Redline Flex features a 6x adjustable zoom. To adjust the beam from flood to spot, simply twist the head of the flashlight.

Hands-Free Operation

Steel Clip: The dual-direction steel clip allows for convenient carrying on a pocket, belt, or even attached to a hat brim for directional lighting.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery Care: For the 14500 rechargeable battery, ensure regular charging to maintain optimal performance. If using disposable AA batteries, replace them when the light output diminishes. Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Water Resistance: The flashlight is water-resistant. Ensure all caps and covers are securely tightened before exposure to water. It is not designed for submersion.

Troubleshooting

Light not turning on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are charged or replaced.
Dim light output: Recharge the 14500 battery or replace the AA battery.
