Setup

1. Operating System Switch

Locate the OS toggle switch on the side of the keyboard. Slide it to the appropriate position for your device:

2. Connection Mode Switch

Wired Mode

  1. Slide the connection mode switch to "Cable".
  2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard and your computer.

Bluetooth Wireless Mode

  1. Slide the connection mode switch to "BT".
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet).
  3. Press and hold Fn + 1 (or Fn + 2, Fn + 3) for 4 seconds until the corresponding key starts flashing rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
  4. On your device, search for "Keychron K12" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to connect.
  5. Once successfully connected, the key will stop flashing.
  6. To switch between up to three paired devices, briefly press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3.
