3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.

3.2 Storage

If storing the flashlight for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device. Store in a cool, dry place.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Flashlight Not Turning On

  • Check battery polarity. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly.
  • Replace batteries with fresh ones. Low battery power can prevent operation.
  • Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened. A loose tail cap can interrupt the electrical connection.

4.2 Dim Light Output

  • Replace batteries. Dim light often indicates low battery power.
  • Clean the lens. Dirt or debris on the lens can reduce light output.

4.3 Water Leakage

  • Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened and the O-ring is properly seated and free of debris. The O-ring provides the waterproof seal.
  • Inspect the O-ring for any damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
