1.1 Electrical Safety
- Ensure the electrical supply meets the product specifications (110V, 10A, 1125W).
- A dedicated circuit with a high-sensitivity and fast-type leakage protection switch (GFCI/RCD) is required. Induced current rating below 15mA, trip time should be less than 0.1 second. Rated current is above 30A.
- Do not operate the tub if the electrical cord or plug is damaged.
- Never use extension cords with this appliance.
1.2 Water Temperature
- Test the water temperature before entering the tub to avoid scalding.
- Prolonged immersion in hot water may cause hyperthermia.
1.3 General Precautions
- Supervise children closely when they are near the tub.
- Do not use the tub under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may cause drowsiness.
- Consult a physician before use if you have medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or are pregnant.

4. Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your whirlpool tub. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified professional.
4.1 Pre-Installation Requirements
- Space and Dimensions: Ensure the installation area accommodates the tub's dimensions (72"L x 48"W x 24"H).
- Electrical: A dedicated 110V, 10A, 1125W circuit with GFCI/RCD protection is required. Power cord length is 70" (1800mm).
- Water Inlet: Reserve connectors for 1/2" external thread cold/hot water hoses, which extend 1.18" (30mm) from the wall.
- Drainage: Reserve a drainage hole with a diameter of at least 1.97 inches. Drain pipe length is 31" (800mm).
- Shower Head Hose: Shower head hose length is 59" (1500mm).

4.2 Unboxing and Component Check
Upon receiving your tub, carefully unbox it and check all components against the packing list. The tub accessories, including the left drain, faucet, knobs, showerhead, and jets, are pre-drilled and pre-installed for convenient and easy installation.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Filling the Bathtub
- Ensure the drain cover is closed.
- Turn on the faucet to fill the tub with water to the desired level. Do not overfill.
5.2 Activating Hydro-Massage Jets
The Empava whirlpool bathtub features 10 water jets driven by a 1.2HP motor, designed to target key areas for relaxation.
- Once the tub is filled above the jets, press the hydro-massage on-off button to activate the jets.
- To adjust the direction of the jets, rotate the outer ring of the jet nozzle.
- To adjust the intensity of the hydro-massage, rotate the hydro-massage strength control clockwise for less intensity or counter-clockwise for more intensity.

5.3 Chromatherapy (Color-Changing Light)
The tub is equipped with chromatherapy lighting to enhance your relaxation experience.
- The color-changing light function will turn on automatically with the hydro-massage function.
- The lights cycle through various colors to create a soothing ambiance.

5.4 Handheld Shower
The multi-function handheld shower provides convenience for rinsing or cleaning the tub.
- Lift the handheld shower from its holder.
- Use the diverter knob to switch water flow from the main faucet to the handheld shower.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Empava Whirlpool Tub.
6.1 General Cleaning
- Clean the acrylic surface with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive, mild bathroom cleaner.
- Avoid cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the acrylic.
- Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to remove any residue.
6.2 Jet System Cleaning
To prevent buildup in the jet system, periodic cleaning is recommended:
- Fill the tub with warm water above the jets.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of dishwasher detergent or a specialized jetted tub cleaner to the water.
- Run the jets for 10-15 minutes.
- Drain the tub and refill with clean water.
- Run the jets again for 5 minutes to rinse the system.
- Drain the tub completely.
6.3 Draining the Tub
To drain the tub, rotate the drain cover to the open position. The drain cover is designed to prevent water loss during your bath when closed.
7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Common Issues & Solutions
- No Power to the Tub:
Check the electrical connection and ensure the GFCI/RCD has not tripped. Reset if necessary. Verify the power cord is securely plugged in. - Jets Not Activating:
Ensure the tub is filled with water above the jet level. Confirm the power is on. If the issue persists, check the pump connection. - Weak Jet Pressure:
Adjust the hydro-massage strength control knob. Ensure the water inlet valves are fully open. - Water Leaks:
Inspect all plumbing connections for tightness. If leaks persist, contact a qualified plumber or Empava customer support. - Chromatherapy Light Not Working:
The light activates with the hydro-massage function. If jets are working but lights are not, check electrical connections to the light system.
