4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the drone battery and the remote control. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The indicator lights will show charging status.

4.2 Propeller Installation

Ensure propellers are correctly installed according to the markings (A and B) on the propellers and motor arms. Incorrect installation will prevent proper flight.

4.3 App Installation and Connection

Download the official Tomzon drone app from your device's app store. Power on the drone and connect your smartphone to the drone's Wi-Fi network. Open the app to establish connection and view the FPV feed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Ensure batteries are fully charged.
  • Check propellers for damage and correct installation.
  • Verify stable GPS signal (if flying outdoors).
  • Confirm successful connection between drone, remote, and app.

5.2 Calibration

Perform compass calibration before each flight, especially when flying in a new location. Follow the instructions in the app or the included manual for precise calibration steps.

5.3 Take-off and Landing

Use the one-key take-off/landing button on the remote or app for automated ascent and descent. For manual control, slowly push the throttle stick upwards to take off and downwards to land.

5.4 Flight Controls

Familiarize yourself with the remote control sticks and buttons. The left stick typically controls altitude and yaw (rotation), while the right stick controls forward/backward and left/right movement.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the drone body and camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Replacement: If propellers are damaged, replace them immediately using the provided spare parts and screwdriver. Ensure correct A/B matching.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge. If not used for extended periods, charge them to about 50% capacity.

7. Troubleshooting
