Introduction

The NEBO SLYDE KING 2K is a versatile and powerful lighting tool designed for various applications, from everyday tasks to outdoor adventures. It features a high-lumen LED flashlight, a COB work light, 4X zoom, a magnetic base, and is rechargeable via USB-C. Setup

First Use & Battery Activation

Before initial use, ensure the battery is properly connected. The flashlight comes with a plastic disc insulator to prevent battery drain during shipping. To activate:

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Remove the plastic disc located between the battery and the contact spring.
3. Re-screw the tail cap securely.

Charging the Flashlight

The SLYDE KING 2K is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and a USB-C charging port.

1. Locate the rubber cover protecting the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight.
2. Lift the rubber cover to expose the port.
3. Connect the included USB-C cable to the flashlight and a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
4. The power button will illuminate to indicate charging status:
   • Pulsing Orange: Charging
   • Solid Green: Fully Charged
5. Charging typically takes 3-4 hours.
6. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water resistance.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off & Mode Selection

The SLYDE KING 2K features a single power button for controlling both the flashlight and work light functions.

• Flashlight (LED): Press the power button once to activate the LED flashlight. Subsequent presses cycle through High, Low, and Off.
• Work Light (COB): Slide the flashlight head upwards to reveal the COB work light. The COB light will automatically activate. Press the power button to cycle through White High, White Low, Red High, Red Low, Red Flash, and Off.
• Power Memory Recall: The flashlight remembers the last used mode for both the LED and COB lights when turned off and on again.

Dimmable Light Modes

All light modes (LED and COB) are dimmable to suit your specific needs.

1. With the desired light mode active, press and hold the power button.
2. The light will gradually dim or brighten. Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached.

4X Zoom Function

The LED flashlight features a 4X adjustable twist zoom to transition between a focused spotlight and a wide floodlight beam.

1. With the LED flashlight active, twist the head of the flashlight clockwise or counter-clockwise.
2. Adjust until you achieve the desired beam focus.

Magnetic Base

The powerful magnetic base allows for hands-free lighting by attaching the flashlight to metal surfaces.

• Simply place the magnetic tail cap onto any ferrous metal surface.
• This is particularly useful when working on vehicles or in areas where hands-free illumination is required.

Battery Power Indicator

The power button also serves as a battery life indicator:

• Green: 100% - 25% battery life
• Orange: 25% - 10% battery life
• Flashing Orange: Less than 10% battery life

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the flashlight with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the USB-C port cover is closed before cleaning to prevent water ingress.

Storage

Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, it is recommended to fully charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

• Flashlight not turning on:
  • Check if the battery insulator disc has been removed (refer to "First Use & Battery Activation").
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and check the indicator light.
  • Verify the tail cap is securely tightened.
• Light output is dim:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the flashlight.
  • The light may be in a dimmed mode. Press and hold the power button to adjust brightness.
• Charging not working:
  • Ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the flashlight and the power source.
  • Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
  • Check if the charging port is clean and free of debris.
• Work light not extending/retracting smoothly:
  • Ensure there is no debris obstructing the sliding mechanism.
  • Apply gentle, even pressure when sliding.
