2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock.
- Carefully open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AA / LR6 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Setting the Time
- On the back of the alarm clock, locate the time setting knob (usually labeled 'TIME SET' or similar).
- Rotate this knob in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.
5.3 Setting the Alarm
- Locate the alarm setting knob on the back of the alarm clock (usually labeled 'ALARM SET' or with an alarm icon).
- Rotate this knob until the alarm hand points to your desired alarm time.
- Ensure the alarm is activated using the alarm ON/OFF switch (refer to Section 6.1).

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Alarm ON/OFF Switch
The alarm ON/OFF switch is located on the top of the alarm clock. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the alarm, and to the 'OFF' position to deactivate it.
6.2 Dial Illumination
To briefly illuminate the clock face in the dark, lightly press the front glass of the alarm clock. The light will stay on as long as you press it and turn off when released.

6.3 Alarm Sound Selection
On the back of the alarm clock, there is a small switch or button to select between the melody alarm sound and the traditional bell alarm sound. Choose your preferred alarm type.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the alarm clock, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the clock in water.
7.2 Battery Replacement
When the clock starts to lose time, the alarm becomes weak, or the light dims, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the instructions in Section 5.1 for battery installation.

- Clock not working / Alarm not sounding:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity.
- Replace old or exhausted batteries with new ones.

- Light not working:
- Ensure batteries are fresh.
- Press the front glass firmly but gently.
- Clock losing time:
