1. Introduction

This appliance is designed to quickly and efficiently prepare refreshing slushies and crushed ice for various beverages and desserts. Please read this manual carefully before first use to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

4. Setup and First Use

Before using your Livoo DOM430 for the first time, please follow these steps:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Wash the collection pitcher, lid, and stirring paddle in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
3. Assemble:
   • Place the main unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
   • Insert the ice shaving chamber into the main unit.
   • Place the collection pitcher under the ice outlet.
   • If making slushies, ensure the stirring paddle is correctly inserted into the pitcher.
4. Power Connection: Ensure the appliance is switched off before plugging it into a suitable power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Livoo DOM430 offers two functions: Crushed Ice and Slushie.

5.1 Making Crushed Ice

1. Ensure the collection pitcher is in place. The stirring paddle is not required for crushed ice.
2. Open the lid of the ice shaving chamber.
3. Add ice cubes to the ice shaving chamber. Do not overfill. (Refer to Image 5.1)
4. Close the lid securely. The appliance will not operate if the lid is not properly closed.
5. Turn the control knob to the "Glace Pilée" (Crushed Ice) or "Coarse" setting. (Refer to Image 5.2)
6. Switch on the appliance. The ice will be shaved and dispensed into the collection pitcher.
7. Once the desired amount of crushed ice is produced, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
8. Serve immediately or store in a freezer.

5.2 Making Slushies

1. Ensure the collection pitcher with the stirring paddle is correctly inserted.
2. Open the lid of the ice shaving chamber.
3. Add ice cubes to the ice shaving chamber.
4. Close the lid securely.
5. Turn the control knob to the "Granité" (Slushie) or "Fine" setting.
6. Switch on the appliance. The ice will be finely shaved into the pitcher.
7. Once the ice is shaved, add your desired liquid (juice, syrup, soda) to the pitcher.
8. Allow the stirring paddle to mix the shaved ice and liquid until a slushie consistency is achieved. This typically takes less than 5 minutes.
9. Once the slushie is ready, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
10. Serve immediately.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your appliance.

1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the lid, ice shaving chamber, collection pitcher, and stirring paddle.
3. Wash Parts: Wash the lid, ice shaving chamber, collection pitcher, and stirring paddle in warm, soapy water. Use a soft brush if necessary to remove any ice residue. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts may also be dishwasher safe (check product markings for confirmation).
4. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
5. Storage: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the appliance or store it in a clean, dry place. The power cord can be stored in the compartment under the appliance for convenience.
