3. Compatibility

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of the activo Car Navigation TV Kit involves connecting the provided harness directly to the back of your compatible Nissan DOP navigation unit. This is a "coupler-on" design, meaning it plugs directly into existing connectors without cutting or splicing wires.

General Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the parking brake is engaged. Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery to prevent electrical issues during installation.
2. Access the Navigation Unit: Carefully remove the dashboard panels surrounding your navigation system to gain access to the rear of the unit. Refer to the vehicle-specific panel disassembly instructions provided via the QR code included with your product for detailed guidance.
3. Locate Connectors: Identify the main harness connector at the back of your navigation unit.

Once the activo Car Navigation TV Kit is correctly installed, its operation is automatic. There are no additional switches or controls required for the kit itself.

• TV/DVD Playback: Simply select the TV or DVD source on your navigation unit as you normally would. The kit will automatically enable viewing while driving.
• Navigation System: Use your navigation system's controls as usual. The kit ensures that all navigation functions, including destination input and map scrolling, remain accessible while the vehicle is in motion.
