3. Setup

  1. Charge the Devices: Before first use, fully charge both the bodypack transmitter and the portable mini receiver using the provided USB charging cable. The charging status LED on the receiver will indicate charging progress.
  2. Connect Microphone: Plug either the headset microphone or the lavalier microphone into the 3.5mm microphone input jack on the bodypack transmitter. Ensure it is securely connected.
  3. Connect Receiver: Plug the 6.35mm (1/4") output of the mini receiver into the MIC INPUT jack of your audio system (e.g., PA system, mixer, amplifier, karaoke machine).
Important: Ensure your audio device has a dedicated "MIC INPUT" jack. Do not connect to "Line In" or "Aux In" jacks, as this may result in no sound or poor audio quality. For devices with a 3.5mm mic input, use a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter (not included) if necessary.
  4. Power On: Turn on the power button on both the mini receiver and the bodypack transmitter. The devices should automatically pair.
  5. Select Frequency (if needed): The system has 32 selectable UHF frequencies per channel. If you experience interference or cut-off, press the frequency selection button on the transmitter to cycle through available frequencies until you find a clear channel.
  6. Adjust Volume: Start with the volume of your external audio device turned down. Gradually increase the volume on your audio device and use the volume up/down buttons on the bodypack transmitter to achieve the desired microphone volume.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on both the transmitter and receiver to turn them on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the volume up and down buttons on the bodypack transmitter to adjust the microphone's output level.
  • Frequency Selection: If you encounter signal interference, briefly press the frequency selection button on the transmitter to switch to a different frequency. The display will show the new frequency.

Working Range:

The system offers a wireless transmission distance of up to 100 feet (approximately 30 meters) line of sight. Optimal performance is achieved within this range, free from major obstructions.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your XTUGA wireless microphone system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Sound or Low Volume:
    • Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on and fully charged.
    • Check that the microphone is securely plugged into the transmitter.
    • Verify that the receiver is plugged into the correct "MIC INPUT" on your audio device, not "Line In" or "Aux In".
    • Increase the volume on both the transmitter and your external audio device.
  • Interference or Cut-off:
    • Select a different frequency on the transmitter. The system has 32 selectable UHF frequencies to minimize interference.
    • Ensure there are no major obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.
    • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver if you are at the edge of the operating range.
    • Avoid using the system near other wireless devices or strong electromagnetic fields.
  • Noise or Feedback:
    • Before inserting the mini receiver, turn down the volume of your external audio device. Gradually increase the volume after connection.
    • Ensure the microphone is not too close to the speaker, which can cause feedback.
    • Check for proper gain staging on your mixer or amplifier.
  • Battery Drains Quickly:
    • Ensure the devices are fully charged before use.
    • If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement (contact support).

7. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your XTUGA wireless microphone system:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the transmitter and receiver. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Battery Care: If storing for an extended period, charge the batteries periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to maintain battery health.
  • Handling: Handle the components with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting them to strong impacts.
