4. Installation

The LABOREDUCER RGB Under Cabinet Lights offer two primary installation methods: Surface Mounted and Recessed. All puck lights must be linked in parallel to the 8-way splitter.

4.1. Wiring Connection

  1. Connect each puck light to the 8-way splitter.
  2. Connect the 8-way splitter to the main controller box.
  3. Connect the controller box to the 12V 2A power adapter.
  4. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

Note: If additional cable length is required, 5ft extension cords are included. Ensure connections are secure. For hardwired applications, the plug on the power supply can be removed by a qualified electrician for direct wiring.

4.2. Surface Mounted Installation

  1. Prepare the Holder: Pass the light cords through the center of the surface mounted holder.
  2. Secure the Holder: Position the holder at the desired location and fix it securely with the provided screws.
  3. Attach the Puck Light: Clip the puck light into the secured holder.

4.3. Recessed Installation

  1. Cut the Hole: Using an appropriate tool, cut a circular hole approximately 2.3 inches (5.8 cm) in diameter at the desired installation point.
  2. Insert the Puck Light: Carefully insert the puck light into the cut-out hole.
  3. Secure: Ensure the light is flush with the surface for a finished appearance.

5. Operation

Your LABOREDUCER RGB Under Cabinet Lights can be controlled via three methods: a mobile application, the included remote control, or the controller box.

5.1. APP Control
