2. Important Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

• Read all instructions before using this fan.
• Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• Always unplug the fan before moving, cleaning, or servicing.
• Do not immerse fan in water.
• Do not use the fan in wet or damp locations, such as bathrooms or laundry areas.
• Keep fingers, hair, and clothing away from moving parts to prevent injury. The small grid spacing is designed to prevent accidental contact with fingers and paws.
• This fan is for indoor use only.
• Ensure the fan is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.

3. Setup and Assembly

The BILT HARD fan is designed for easy assembly and convenient maintenance. Minimal assembly is required.

3.1. Attaching the Floor Stand

1. Carefully remove the fan unit and the U-shaped floor stand from the packaging.
2. Align the ends of the U-shaped floor stand with the attachment points on the sides of the fan's main body.
3. Insert the stand into the designated slots until it clicks securely into place. Ensure both sides are firmly attached.

3.2. Wall-Mounting Installation (Optional)

This industrial fan can also be mounted on a wall using the included bracket. This allows for versatile placement and efficient air circulation in your workspace.

1. Identify a suitable wall location, ensuring it is a sturdy surface capable of supporting the fan's weight.
2. Attach the wall mount bracket to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors (included). Ensure the bracket is level and securely fastened.
3. Remove the U-shaped floor stand if it is attached.
4. Align the fan's side attachment points with the bracket and secure the fan to the wall mount.

4. Operating Instructions

The BILT HARD fan features a user-friendly design for optimal performance.

4.1. Power and Speed Control

The fan is equipped with a 3-speed control dial located on the rear of the fan housing. This allows you to customize the airflow to your preference.

• OFF: Turns the fan off.
• LOW: Provides a gentle airflow (2980 CFM).
• MEDIUM: Offers moderate airflow (3750 CFM).
• HIGH: Delivers maximum high-velocity airflow (4650 CFM).

4.2. Tilt Adjustment

The fan head can be tilted 360 degrees, allowing you to direct airflow precisely where it's needed. Simply loosen the adjustment knobs on either side of the fan, position the fan head to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure it in place.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning can extend the life of your BILT HARD high velocity fan and ensure optimal performance.

• Always unplug the fan from the power source before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• To clean the fan blades, carefully remove the front grill (refer to assembly instructions for reverse steps if needed). Wipe the blades with a soft cloth. Ensure the blades are completely dry before reattaching the grill.
• Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
