Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels from the griddle.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable nonstick cooking plate and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the griddle base with a damp cloth.
- Assemble: Ensure the griddle base is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Insert the removable nonstick cooking plate securely into the base. Slide the drip tray into its designated slot beneath the cooking surface.
- Connect Power: Insert the heating probe into the receptacle on the side of the griddle. Ensure it is fully inserted. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

- Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control dial on the heating probe to your desired setting. The griddle heats up quickly, typically within minutes.
- Preheating: Allow the griddle to preheat until the indicator light on the heating probe turns off, signaling that the set temperature has been reached.
- Cooking: Place food directly onto the nonstick cooking surface. The 20” x 10.5” surface provides ample space for cooking multiple items simultaneously.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your griddle. Always allow the griddle to cool completely before cleaning.
- Disconnect Power: Unplug the heating probe from the griddle and the electrical outlet.
- Remove Components: Carefully remove the nonstick cooking plate and the drip tray from the griddle base.
- Clean Cooking Plate & Drip Tray: Both the nonstick cooking plate and the drip tray are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Clean Griddle Base: Wipe the griddle base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base or the heating probe in water or any other liquid.
- Store: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the griddle or store components separately in a dry place.

Troubleshooting
- Griddle not heating: Ensure the heating probe is fully inserted into the griddle and the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the temperature dial is set to an ON position (not 'OFF' or 'WARM' if higher heat is desired).
- Uneven heating: While the griddle is designed for even heat, minor variations can occur. Ensure the griddle is placed on a flat, stable surface. Allow sufficient preheating time until the indicator light turns off.
