Introduction
Welcome to your new Gre KITPR358N round above-ground steel pool. This instruction manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your removable pool. Please read all instructions carefully and completely before beginning assembly or use to ensure proper setup and long-term enjoyment of your pool. Keep this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death. Always adhere to local regulations and safety standards.
- Adult Supervision: Never leave children unattended in or around the pool. Constant adult supervision is required.
- No Diving: This is an above-ground pool. Do not dive or jump into the pool. Serious injury, paralysis, or death can occur.
- Ladder Safety: Always use the safety ladder provided for entry and exit. Ensure the ladder is stable before use. Remove the ladder when the pool is not in use to prevent unsupervised access by children.
- Chemical Handling: Handle pool chemicals according to manufacturer's instructions. Store chemicals safely out of reach of children and pets.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure all electrical equipment (e.g., filter pump) is properly grounded and connected to a GFCI-protected outlet. Do not operate electrical devices near the pool.
- Clear Area: Keep the area around the pool clear of obstacles and debris.
- Emergency Preparedness: Keep emergency contact information readily available. Learn CPR.

Setup and Installation
Careful preparation and assembly are crucial for the stability and longevity of your pool. It is recommended to have at least two adults for installation.
1. Site Preparation
- Location: Choose a flat, level area in your garden. The required space for installation is 400 x 400 cm. Ensure the area is free from sharp objects, roots, or rocks.
- Ground Stability: The ground must be firm and capable of supporting the weight of the filled pool (approximately 11,000 kg). An optional concrete slab can be used for enhanced stability.
- Drainage: Ensure proper drainage away from the pool area to prevent water accumulation.
- Sunlight: Consider sunlight exposure for water warming and proximity to electrical outlets for the filter pump.
2. Ground Mat Placement
Unfold the protective ground mat in the center of your prepared site. Ensure it is smooth and free of wrinkles. This mat protects the pool liner from punctures and abrasions.

3. Pool Wall Assembly
Assemble the steel pool wall according to the lateral post system. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide for connecting the wall sections and installing the vertical posts and top/bottom rails. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened.
4. Liner Installation
Carefully unfold the grey liner inside the assembled pool wall. Position it so that the bottom seam is centered and smooth. Begin filling the pool with a few inches of water to help smooth out wrinkles from the center outwards. Ensure the liner is evenly distributed and not stretched excessively.

5. Filter System and Ladder Connection
Connect the sand filter system (6 m³/h) to the designated skimmer and return fittings on the pool wall. Refer to the sand filter manual for specific plumbing and electrical connections. Assemble the safety ladder and place it securely over the pool edge. Ensure the ladder is stable and rests firmly on the ground.

Operating Instructions
1. Filling the Pool
Continue filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, smooth out any remaining wrinkles in the liner. Fill the pool to the recommended level, typically halfway up the skimmer opening.
2. Sand Filter Operation
Once the pool is filled and the filter system is connected, prime the pump and start the filter. The 6 m³/h sand filter is designed to circulate and clean the pool water. Operate the filter for several hours daily to maintain water clarity. Refer to the separate sand filter manual for detailed operating modes (filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, closed).
3. Water Chemistry
Regularly test your pool water for pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels. Maintain recommended levels to ensure safe and clean swimming conditions. Consult a pool chemical guide for proper dosing and application.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential to keep your pool clean, safe, and in good condition.
- Daily: Skim debris from the water surface. Check and empty the skimmer basket.
- Weekly: Test water chemistry and adjust as needed. Vacuum the pool bottom. Brush pool walls. Backwash the sand filter as indicated by pressure gauge or reduced flow.
- Monthly: Check all connections and hardware for tightness. Inspect the liner for any signs of wear or damage.
- Winterization: For seasonal use, drain the pool completely, clean the liner, and disassemble the pool for storage in a dry, protected area. Follow specific winterization instructions for your climate.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For problems not listed here, consult the sand filter manual or contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudy Water | Insufficient filtration, improper chemical balance, high organic load. | Run filter longer, backwash filter, test and adjust water chemistry (chlorine, pH), shock treat the pool. |
| Filter Pump Not Working | No power, clogged impeller, air in pump, motor overheating. | Check power connection/GFCI, clear debris from impeller, prime pump, allow motor to cool. |
| Water Level Dropping (Leak) | Liner puncture, loose connections, skimmer/return fitting issue. | Inspect liner for holes (use dye test), tighten all plumbing connections, check skimmer/return gaskets. |
| Poor Water Circulation | Clogged skimmer/pump basket, dirty filter sand, closed valves. | Empty baskets, backwash filter, ensure all valves are open. |
