2. Setup Instructions
Before beginning installation, ensure your computer is powered off and disconnected from the power source. Wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent damage to components from static electricity.
2.1 Installing the CPU
- Locate the FM1 CPU socket on the motherboard.
- Gently lift the load lever on the CPU socket.
- Align the CPU with the socket, ensuring the gold triangle on the CPU matches the triangle on the socket. Do not force the CPU into the socket; it should sit in place easily.
- Lower the load lever to secure the CPU.

3. Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and connected, you can power on your system.
3.1 Initial Boot and BIOS Setup
- Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Connect the power cord to the power supply and turn on the PSU switch.
- Press the power button on your computer case.
- During startup, repeatedly press the DEL or F2 key (common keys, may vary) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup utility.
- In the BIOS, you can configure boot order, system time, and other hardware settings. Save changes and exit to proceed.
3.2 Operating System Installation
After configuring the BIOS, you can install your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows 10, Linux).
- Insert your operating system installation media (USB drive or DVD) into the computer.
- Reboot the system and ensure the boot order in BIOS is set to prioritize your installation media.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install the operating system.
- After installation, install the necessary drivers for the motherboard components (chipset, audio, network, etc.) from the manufacturer's website or included driver disc.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard and system.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the motherboard and other components using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- BIOS Updates: Check the Heayzoki support website for BIOS updates. BIOS updates can improve compatibility, stability, and performance. Follow the update instructions carefully to avoid system damage.
- Driver Updates: Keep your device drivers (chipset, audio, network, graphics) updated to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with your operating system.
- Physical Inspection: Occasionally inspect the motherboard for any signs of damage, loose connections, or bulging capacitors.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
5.1 System Does Not Power On
- Check if the power supply unit (PSU) is properly connected to the motherboard (24-pin and CPU power).
- Ensure the power switch from the case is correctly connected to the front panel header pins on the motherboard.
- Verify the PSU is switched on and receiving power from the wall outlet.
- Test the PSU with another system or a PSU tester if available.
5.2 No Display Output
- Ensure the monitor is connected to the correct video output port (VGA or DVI) on the motherboard or dedicated graphics card.
- Check if the RAM modules are properly seated in their slots. Try reseating them or testing with one module at a time.
- Verify the CPU is correctly installed and the CPU cooler is securely attached.
- If using a dedicated graphics card, ensure it is properly seated in the PCI-E X16 slot and any required power connectors are attached.
5.3 Operating System Not Booting
- Check the boot order in the BIOS to ensure your primary storage device (HDD/SSD with OS) is prioritized.
- Verify that the SATA data and power cables for your storage device are securely connected.
- If you recently installed a new OS, ensure all necessary drivers are installed.
