1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Dpofirs Portable Bluetooth Turntable Phonograph. This device allows you to enjoy your vinyl record collection with its 3-speed playback capability and integrated stereo speakers. It also features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless audio streaming and various audio input/output options. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize your listening experience.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the Turntable: Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or storage.
  2. Place the Turntable: Position the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust.
  3. Connect Power: Insert the DC plug of the provided power adapter into the DC IN port on the back of the turntable. Plug the adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
  4. Remove Stylus Protector: Gently remove the clear plastic stylus protector from the stylus (needle) before playing any records.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Power On: Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Select Speed: Choose the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch, matching the speed of your vinyl record. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle.
  3. Place Record: Carefully place a vinyl record (7, 10, or 12 inch) onto the turntable platter.
  4. Lift Tonearm: Use the cue lever to gently lift the tonearm.
  5. Position Tonearm: Manually move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
  6. Lower Tonearm: Slowly lower the tonearm using the cue lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
  7. Adjust Volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to adjust the sound level from the built-in speakers.
  8. End Playback: When the record finishes, the tonearm may automatically return to its rest position (if auto-stop is enabled and supported by the record). Otherwise, manually lift the tonearm using the cue lever, return it to its rest, and lower the cue lever.

5.2 Bluetooth Connection

The turntable features Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio streaming from compatible devices.

  1. Activate Bluetooth Mode: Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit. The turntable will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on Your Device: On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  3. Pair Device: Search for available devices. Select "Dpofirs Turntable" (or similar name) from the list. Once connected, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
  4. Play Audio: You can now play audio from your connected device through the turntable's built-in speakers. Adjust volume using both your device and the turntable's volume knob.

5.3 Audio Input/Output

  • Headphone Connection: Connect headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack on the rear panel for private listening. The built-in speakers will be muted when headphones are connected.
  • External Speaker Connection: Use RCA audio cables (not included) to connect the RCA L/R output ports on the rear panel to an external amplifier or powered speakers for enhanced sound.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Stylus: Regularly clean the stylus using a soft brush designed for turntable styli. Brush gently from back to front to remove dust and debris.
  • Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the turntable's exterior with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Dust Cover Care: Keep the lid closed when not in use to protect the platter and tonearm from dust.
  • Record Care: Keep your vinyl records clean and stored properly to prevent damage and ensure optimal playback quality.
