- Power Cord: Attached to the main unit.
- Internal Blade: Stainless steel blade for blending, located under the lid.
3. Before First Use & Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the jug interior and the blade assembly with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the jug with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the lid (which contains electrical components) in water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely.
- Placement: Place the soup maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop and out of reach of children.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is fully extended and plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
4. Operation
The Ambiano Soup Maker features four primary functions: Smooth, Chunky, Blend/Juice, and Clean. It also includes a Keep Warm function.
General Operating Steps:
- Prepare your ingredients. Cut solid ingredients into small pieces (approximately 2-3 cm) to ensure even cooking and blending.
- Add ingredients to the stainless steel jug. Ensure the liquid level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines. Overfilling can cause boiling over, and underfilling can lead to dry burning.
- Securely place the lid onto the jug, ensuring it clicks into place. The appliance will not operate if the lid is not correctly seated.
- Plug the soup maker into a power outlet. The display lights will illuminate.
- Press the Power button (ⓘ) to turn on the unit.
- Select your desired function by pressing the corresponding button on the control panel (e.g., "Smooth Soup", "Chunky Soup", "Smoothie").
- The selected program will begin automatically. The indicator light for the chosen function will flash during operation.
- Once the program is complete, the soup maker will beep, and the indicator light will stop flashing.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before serving.
Function Specifics:
- Smooth Soup: Heats and blends ingredients to a smooth consistency. Ideal for creamy soups. Cooking time is approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Chunky Soup: Heats ingredients without continuous blending, resulting in a soup with visible chunks. Blends briefly at the end to combine. Cooking time is approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Blend/Juice (Smoothie): Blends cold ingredients for smoothies, milkshakes, or cold sauces. No heating involved.
- Clean: A dedicated program for easy cleaning of the jug and blade. (Refer to Cleaning section for details).
- Keep Warm: After a cooking program finishes, the soup maker may automatically switch to a "Keep Warm" mode, or it can be selected manually to maintain the temperature of the contents.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your soup maker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the soup maker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Jug Interior:
- For light cleaning, add a small amount of water and a drop of dish soap to the jug. Secure the lid and select the "Clean" function. This will agitate the water and help dislodge food particles.
- For thorough cleaning, use a non-abrasive sponge or brush with warm, soapy water to clean the interior of the jug and around the blade. Be careful around the sharp blade.
- Rinse the interior thoroughly with clean water.
- Lid and Blade Assembly: Wipe the exterior of the lid with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the lid in water. Use a small brush to clean any food residue from around the blade and the underside of the lid.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the jug with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
- Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the appliance.
- Storage: Store the soup maker in a clean, dry place.
Caution: Never immerse the main unit (jug with integrated heating element and power cord) or the lid (with motor and controls) in water or other liquids. This will cause electrical damage and void the warranty.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Ambiano Soup Maker, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |

| Ingredients not blending smoothly. | Ingredients too large; Not enough liquid; Blade obstructed. | Cut ingredients into smaller pieces. Ensure liquid level is above MIN line. Check for obstructions around the blade and clean if necessary. Run "Smooth Soup" cycle again or use "Blend" function. |
| Soup boils over. | Overfilled jug. | Ensure ingredients and liquid do not exceed the MAX fill line. Reduce the quantity of ingredients. |
| Burning smell during operation. | Dry burning (not enough liquid); Food stuck to heating element. | Immediately unplug the unit. Ensure liquid is always above the MIN line. Clean the bottom of the jug thoroughly after it cools. If the smell persists, discontinue use and contact support. |
| Error indicator lights flashing. | Specific error (e.g., overfill, dry burning, lid open). | Refer to the specific error code in your full manual (if applicable) or try unplugging and re-plugging the unit. Check fill levels and lid position. |
