Setup
Power Connection
Connect the provided USB power cable to the mixer's USB power input. The mixer can be powered via a PC USB port, power bank, or a power socket with a suitable USB adapter (DC 5V/1A).

Input Connections
The BMG-04D features various input options:
- MIC/LINE Inputs (Channels 1 & 2): These are mono inputs supporting both XLR and unbalanced 1/4'' (6.3mm) plugs. Use these for microphones (dynamic or condenser) or line-level instruments.
- 48V Phantom Power: For condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch located above the XLR inputs.
- STEREO LINE INPUT (Channels 3/4): This stereo input uses 6.3mm XLR or RCA sockets for connecting devices like keyboards, CD players, or other stereo audio sources.
- USB/Bluetooth Input: For digital audio input from computers or Bluetooth devices.

Output Connections
The mixer provides the following outputs:
- OUT-L / OUT-R (Balanced XLR): Main stereo outputs for connecting to powered speakers, power amplifiers, or other audio systems.
- OUT-L / OUT-R (Unbalanced 1/4''): Additional main stereo outputs.
- Headphone Output: For monitoring your mix.
Operating Instructions
Basic Mixing
Each input channel (1, 2, and 3/4) has dedicated controls:
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set this to an appropriate level to avoid clipping (indicated by the PEAK light).
- HIGH/LOW: Tone controls for adjusting the treble and bass frequencies of each channel.
- EFF: Controls the amount of effect (DSP) applied to the channel.
- LEVEL: Adjusts the output volume of each channel to the main mix.
The MAIN OUT knob controls the overall output volume of the mixer. The PHONES knob adjusts the volume for the headphone output.
DSP Effects
The BOMGE BMG-04D features a built-in 16 DSP (Digital Signal Processor) effects engine.
- PROGRAM Knob: Rotate this knob to select one of the 16 available effects. The selected effect number will be displayed on the digital screen.
- DSP +/- Buttons: Fine-tune parameters of the selected DSP effect.
- EFF Knob (per channel): Use this knob on individual channels to send audio to the DSP effects processor.

Bluetooth Wireless Connection
To stream music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or computer:
- Press the
MODEbutton on the mixer until "BT" appears on the digital display. - On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for "BMG04D" (or similar, refer to your device's Bluetooth settings).
- Select "BMG04D" to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the mixer.
- Use the play/pause and skip track buttons on the mixer to control playback.

USB/MP3/Flash Reader Compatibility
The mixer supports audio playback from a USB flash drive:
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
- The mixer will automatically switch to USB mode or you may need to select it using the
MODEbutton. - Use the playback controls (play/pause, next/previous track) on the mixer to navigate your audio files.

Audio Recording to PC/USB Disk
The mixer has a built-in sound card and audio interface, allowing recording to a PC, U disk, or mobile phone.
Recording to U Disk
- Ensure a USB flash drive is inserted into the USB port.
- Press the
RECbutton to start recording. The display will show recording time. - Press
RECagain to stop recording. - To play back the recorded audio, press the
RECbutton after stopping the recording.
Recording to PC/MAC
Connect the mixer to your computer via the USB cable. The mixer will be recognized as an audio input device. You can then use your preferred audio recording software (e.g., Audacity, GarageBand) to record the mixer's output.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the mixer. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Always grasp the plug, not the cable, when disconnecting. Avoid bending cables sharply.
