Operating Instructions
1. Filling the Pool
Once the pool is fully assembled and all connections are secure, begin filling with water. Fill slowly to allow the liner to settle and smooth out any wrinkles. Stop filling when the water level reaches the recommended fill line, typically just below the skimmer opening.
2. Filter Pump Operation
The Model SFX1000 SkimmerPlus Filter Pump is designed to keep your pool water clean. Ensure the Type C filter cartridge is correctly installed inside the pump housing.
- Initial Start-up: After filling the pool, plug the pump into the GFCI-protected outlet. The pump will begin circulating water.
- Run Time: Operate the filter pump for a minimum of 8-12 hours per day, or as needed, to maintain water clarity.
- GFCI Test: Regularly test the GFCI device as per its instructions to ensure proper safety function.
Maintenance
