Setup

1. Attach the Outlet Adapter: Screw the multi-size outlet adapter onto the pump's discharge port. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.
2. Connect the Hose: Attach your drainage hose to the appropriate size on the outlet adapter. Use a hose clamp to secure the connection if necessary.
3. Position the Pump: Place the pump on a stable, flat surface in the area to be drained. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water before starting.
4. Position the Float Switch: The float switch controls the pump's automatic operation. Ensure it can move freely and is not obstructed by walls or debris. The pump will start when the float switch rises to a certain level and stop when it drops.

Operating Instructions

1. Submerge the Pump: Carefully lower the pump into the water, ensuring it is fully submerged and resting on a stable surface.
2. Plug In: Connect the pump's power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Automatic Operation: The pump will automatically start when the water level rises, causing the float switch to float upwards (typically when the water level is approximately 50cm above the pump base). It will stop when the water level drops and the float switch lowers (down to approximately 25cm above the pump base, or 35mm by manual control).
4. Monitor Drainage: Observe the water drainage to ensure proper operation. The pump is capable of handling solids up to 35mm.
5. Manual Operation (if applicable): For continuous operation or to drain water to the lowest possible level (35mm), you may need to manually hold the float switch in the 'on' position or secure it upwards. Refer to the float switch diagram for working and stop states.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DEKO water pump.

• Cleaning: After each use, especially when pumping dirty water, rinse the pump thoroughly with clean water. Remove any debris or foreign objects from the suction port and impeller area.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. Check the float switch for free movement.
• Storage: When not in use, store the pump in a dry, frost-free location. Ensure it is clean and free of water to prevent freezing damage.
• Winterization: If storing for an extended period or in cold climates, ensure all water is drained from the pump and hose to prevent damage from freezing.
