5.1 Planning Your Installation

Before beginning installation, determine the optimal placement for your speakers to ensure balanced sound distribution. Consider the room acoustics and proximity to power outlets for the amplifier.

  1. Mark and Cut the Opening: Using the provided template or the specified cut-out diameter (6.3 inches / 16 cm), mark the desired location on your ceiling or wall. Carefully cut the opening using a hole saw.
  2. Run Speaker Wires: Route the speaker wires from the amplifier location to each speaker opening. Ensure sufficient length for connections.
  3. Connect Speakers: Connect the speaker wires to the spring-loaded terminals on the back of each speaker. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black).
  4. Mount Speakers: Insert the speaker into the cut-out opening. The flush mount design with spring clips will secure the speaker in place.
  5. Connect Amplifier: Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the amplifier box's speaker output terminals. Connect the power adapter to the amplifier's power jack and then to a power outlet.
  6. Power On: Once all connections are secure, plug in the power adapter to power on the amplifier.

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered on. The Bluetooth indicator light on the amplifier will typically blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.

  3. Search for available devices. The amplifier will appear as "Herdio HCS628BT" or similar.
