2. Setup Guide
2.1. Power Connection
Connect a standard 9V DC power supply (not included) to the 9V DC input jack on the rear panel of the OC10W. Ensure the power supply meets the required specifications (9V, 150mA minimum).
2.2. Audio Connections
- Connect your guitar or instrument to the INPUT jack.
- Connect the OUT1 or OUT2 jack to your amplifier's input.
- For each effect pedal, connect the pedal's input to a SEND jack (e.g., SEND1) and the pedal's output to the corresponding RETURN jack (e.g., RETURN1). The OC10W features seven serial mono loops (SEND1-7/RETURN1-7) and three parallel loops (SEND8-10/RETURN8-10).
- The TUNER output can be connected to a dedicated tuner pedal. This output features a mute switch for silent tuning.

2.3. MIDI Connections
Use standard MIDI cables to connect the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT jacks to other MIDI-compatible devices for comprehensive control and synchronization.
2.4. Bluetooth Pairing (Winglink App)
The OC10W can be controlled and programmed remotely via the Winglink iOS app. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device and follow the app's instructions to pair with the OC10W. Look for the Winglink logo on the device.

3. Operation
3.1. Modes of Operation
The OC10W supports two primary modes of operation:
- Program Mode: Allows you to store and recall complex effect pedal combinations and MIDI commands as presets. The OC10W offers 168 MIDI presets.
- Manual Mode: Enables direct control over individual loops via the footswitches, allowing you to turn effects on and off instantly without recalling a preset.
3.2. Footswitch Functions
The OC10W features multiple footswitches for versatile control:
- PROGRAM / LOOP Footswitches (1-7): In Program Mode, these recall specific presets. In Manual Mode, they activate/deactivate the corresponding effect loops.
- BANK+ / LOOP8 Footswitch: Used to increment banks in Program Mode or control Loop 8 in Manual Mode.
- MUTE / LOOP9 Footswitch: Mutes the output for silent tuning or controls Loop 9.
- FS3 / MULTI JACK Footswitch: Controls external devices via the FS3 jack or acts as a multi-function switch.
- FS1, FS2, SLV: Additional footswitches for various control functions, often configurable.

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your One Control Crocodile Tail Loop Wing, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, which can damage the finish and internal components.
- Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Connections: Periodically check all cable connections (audio, MIDI, power) to ensure they are secure and free from damage. Loose connections can lead to signal loss or intermittent operation.
- Footswitches: While designed for durability, avoid excessive force when operating the footswitches.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OC10W, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power/Unit not turning on | Incorrect power supply; Loose power connection; Faulty power supply | Ensure a 9V DC power supply is correctly connected. Verify power supply functionality. |
| No sound/Signal loss | Incorrect audio connections; Faulty cables; Loop not active; Tuner mute engaged | Check all input, output, send, and return cables. Ensure the correct loops are active. Disengage tuner mute if active. |
| MIDI control not working | Incorrect MIDI connections; MIDI channel mismatch; Incorrect MIDI settings | Verify MIDI In/Out connections. Ensure MIDI channels match between devices. Check MIDI settings in the OC10W and connected devices. |
| Bluetooth connection issues | Bluetooth off on device; App issues; Interference | Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device. Restart the Winglink app and the OC10W. Try pairing again. |
