Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Turn on both the transmitter and the receiver units using their respective power switches.
  2. Automatic Pairing: The units are pre-paired from the factory. Once powered on, they should automatically connect, indicated by solid blue lights on both units. If they are flashing blue, they are not yet paired.
  3. Manual Pairing: If units do not pair automatically, press the pairing button on the receiver. Then, press and hold the pairing button on the transmitter for more than 2 seconds. The lights will turn solid blue upon successful pairing.
  4. Channel Switching: The system supports 4 signal channels. To change the channel, double-click the pair button on either the transmitter or receiver. The yellow indicator lights will flicker a number of times corresponding to the current channel bank (e.g., one flicker for channel 1, two for channel 2, etc.). This allows multiple units to be used in the same area without interference.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your JOYO JW-03 Wireless Guitar System, consider the following:

  • No Sound/Intermittent Signal:
    • Ensure both transmitter and receiver are powered on and fully charged.
    • Verify that both units are successfully paired (solid blue lights). If not, perform manual pairing as described in the Operating Instructions.
    • Check that the units are within the 20-meter transmission range.
    • Try switching to a different channel to avoid potential interference from other 2.4GHz devices in the vicinity.
  • Latency/Delay: The system is designed for low latency (less than 5mS). If you perceive delay, ensure there are no major obstructions or strong interference sources between the transmitter and receiver.
  • Noise/Hum: While designed for low noise, ensure all connections are secure. Test with different instruments or amplifiers to isolate the source of the noise.
