6. Operation
6.1 Pairing the Drone and Remote Control
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the drone by pressing the power button. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote control.
- Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's indicator lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
6.2 Calibrating the Drone
Calibration ensures stable flight. Perform calibration after pairing and before each flight.
- After pairing, ensure the drone is on a flat surface.
- Refer to the app interface or remote control instructions for the specific calibration sequence (often involves moving joysticks in a specific pattern or pressing a dedicated button).

Figure 6.1: The drone app interface showing options for 'Calibrate' and 'Start', along with explanations for Headless Mode and Trajectory Flight features.
6.3 Take-off and Landing
- Auto Take-off: Press the dedicated Auto Take-off button on the remote control or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a safe altitude and hover.
- Manual Take-off: After pairing and calibration, slowly push the left joystick (throttle) upwards to make the drone ascend.
- Auto Landing: Press the dedicated Auto Landing button. The drone will slowly descend and land automatically.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards until the drone lands. Once landed, hold the joystick down for a few seconds to stop the propellers.
6.4 Flight Modes and Features
- Altitude Hover: The drone maintains a stable altitude, allowing for easier control and more stable photo/video capture. This feature is automatically engaged after take-off.
- Headless Mode: In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is irrelevant. Forward on the remote control will always move the drone forward relative to the pilot, regardless of which way the drone's front is facing. Activate this mode via the remote or app.
- Follow Me / Master Mode: When activated through the app (often called "Master Mode"), the drone will follow a selected subject. Ensure the subject is clearly visible on the screen.
- Return Home: Press the Return Home button on the remote or in the app, and the drone will attempt to fly back to its take-off point. This feature's accuracy depends on GPS signal strength (if available) and environmental factors.
- Gesture Auto-Photo/Video: Use specific hand gestures in front of the drone's camera to trigger photo or video recording. Refer to the app for specific gesture commands.
- Trajectory Flight: Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen within the app, and the drone will follow the designated route.
- Speed Control: Adjust the drone's flight speed (e.g., low, medium, high) using the dedicated button on the remote control or within the app.

6.5 Camera Operation
The drone is equipped with a Wi-Fi 4K camera and a secondary optical flow camera.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Turn on the drone, then connect your smartphone to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "Jetstream Blizzard_XXXX") via your phone's Wi-Fi settings.
- Live View (FPV): Open the Jetstream Blizzard App. You should see a live feed from the drone's camera.
- Take Photos: Tap the camera icon in the app to take a photo.
- Record Video: Tap the video icon in the app to start/stop video recording.
- Media Storage: Photos and videos are typically saved directly to your smartphone's gallery or the app's media folder.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your drone.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for any damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using the spare parts provided.
- Motor Care: Keep motors free from dust and debris. Do not attempt to lubricate motors.
- Battery Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50% capacity.
- Firmware Updates: Check the Jetstream Blizzard App periodically for any available firmware updates for the drone.
8. Troubleshooting
