5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and a mild soap solution, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish.
5.2 Storage
Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If storing for an extended period, remove batteries to prevent leakage.
5.3 Battery Replacement
If using battery power, replace all 6x 1.5V 'D' size batteries when the keyboard's performance diminishes or the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet, or that fresh batteries are correctly installed.
- No Sound: Check the volume levels (master and accompaniment). Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the built-in speakers. Verify external speakers are connected and powered if used.
- Keys Not Responding: If specific keys are not working, ensure no debris is lodged beneath them. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- MIDI Connection Issues: Ensure USB MIDI cables are correctly connected to both the keyboard and the external device (smartphone/computer). Check device settings for MIDI input recognition.
