Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Gently slide open the battery cover.
  3. Insert one CR2025 button cell battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Initial Power On

Upon successful battery installation, the LCD display will illuminate, and the clock will typically show a default time or begin flashing. You can now proceed to set the time and other functions.

Operating Instructions

The MT-033 clock features several control buttons on its back panel for various settings. Familiarize yourself with these buttons:

1. Setting Time and Date

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button repeatedly until the time digits start flashing.
  2. Use the ADJ/UP or DOWN/C/F buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press SET to confirm the hour and move to the minutes.
  4. Use ADJ/UP or DOWN/C/F to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press SET to confirm the minutes and move to the year.
  6. Continue this process for setting the year, month, and day.
  7. After setting the day, press SET again to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

2. Setting the Alarm

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter alarm display mode. The alarm time will be shown.
  2. Press and hold the SET button until the alarm hour digits start flashing.
  3. Use the ADJ/UP or DOWN/C/F buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  4. Press SET to confirm the alarm hour and move to the alarm minutes.
  5. Use ADJ/UP or DOWN/C/F to adjust the alarm minutes.
  6. Press SET to confirm the alarm minutes. You may then be able to select an alarm melody (use ADJ/UP/DOWN to cycle through 8 options).
  7. Press SET again to exit alarm setting mode.
  8. To activate/deactivate the alarm, in alarm display mode, press ADJ/UP (or a dedicated alarm ON/OFF button if present) to toggle the alarm icon on or off.

3. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press any button (except for the alarm off button, if separate) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes). To turn off the alarm completely, press the designated alarm off button or let it ring for its full duration.

4. 12/24 Hour Mode Selection

From the normal time display, press the ADJ/UP button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats.

5. Temperature Display (Celsius/Fahrenheit)

From the normal time display, press the DOWN/C/F button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.

Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section. Ensure you use a fresh CR2025 button cell battery.
