Note: A Class 10 microSD card (32GB - 128GB) is required for operation and is NOT INCLUDED. Please format the microSD card on a computer as instructed in this manual before first use.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Preparing the MicroSD Card

  1. Obtain a Class 10 microSD card with a capacity between 32GB and 128GB.
  2. Insert the microSD card into your computer.
  3. Format the microSD card to FAT32 file system. Refer to your computer's operating system instructions for formatting external storage devices.
  4. Once formatted, insert the microSD card into the dash camera's card slot.

4.2 Installing the Front Dash Camera

  1. Clean the area on your front windshield where you intend to mount the dash camera. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
  2. Attach the suction mount to the dash camera.
  3. Press the suction mount firmly against the cleaned windshield surface and engage the locking mechanism to secure it. Position the camera to ensure a clear view of the road without obstructing your driving vision.
  4. Connect the car charger to the dash camera's power input and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Route the cable neatly to avoid interference with driving controls.

4.3 Installing the Rear Camera

  1. Identify a suitable location on your rear windshield for the rear camera. Clean the surface thoroughly.
  2. Attach the rear camera using its adhesive or mounting bracket.
  3. Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash camera unit. Route the cable along the vehicle's headliner and pillar trim to conceal it.
  4. For the parking guide line feature to function, the rear camera's red wire needs to be connected to the live wire of your vehicle's reversing lamp. Professional installation is recommended for this step if you are unfamiliar with vehicle electrical systems.

Camera does not power on.
  • Ensure the car charger is properly connected to both the camera and the vehicle's power outlet.
  • Check if the vehicle's power outlet is functioning (e.g., by plugging in another device).
  • The internal battery might be depleted. Charge the camera for at least 30 minutes.
Camera stops recording or shows "Card Error".
  • The microSD card may be full. Format the card (back up important files first).
  • The microSD card may be faulty or not Class 10. Replace with a high-quality Class 10 card (32GB-128GB).
  • The card may be corrupted. Format the card on a computer.
Video footage is blurry or unclear.
  • Clean the camera lenses with a soft cloth.
  • Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
  • Check if the camera is securely mounted and not vibrating excessively.
Parking Monitor does not work.
  • Ensure the Parking Monitor feature is enabled in the settings.
  • Verify that the camera is receiving continuous power (e.g., via hardwire kit or power bank) when the vehicle is off. The internal battery is for emergency power only.
Rear camera not displaying or working.
  • Check the connection cable between the front and rear cameras. Ensure it is securely plugged in.
  • Inspect the cable for any damage.
