3. Product Features

• GPS Speed Measurement: The G1 bike computer supports speed measurement via GPS signal, displaying maximum, minimum, and average speeds. It also shows current speed in real-time.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Mounting the Device

The CYCPLUS G1 features a two-step easy installation process:

1. Secure the bike computer mount to your bicycle's handlebar using the provided elastic band. Ensure it is firmly attached and positioned for optimal viewing.
2. Align the G1 bike computer with the mount and twist it gently until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Initial Power On and GPS Acquisition

To power on the device, press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or bottom). Upon first use or after a long period of inactivity, the device may take a few minutes to acquire a GPS signal. Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky for faster acquisition.

4.3 Charging the Device

Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the charging port on the G1 and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

5. Operation

5.1 Button Functions

• Power Button: Typically located on the side. A long press turns the device on/off. A quick press may cycle through certain display modes or confirm selections.
• Mode Button: Usually located on the bottom. A quick press cycles through different display screens (e.g., current speed, total time, odometer).

5.2 Display Modes

The G1 can display various data points. Use the Mode button to switch between screens showing:

• Current Speed, Max Speed, Average Speed
• Trip Time (TOT)
• Trip Distance (DIST)
• Total Odometer (ODO)
• Current Time (CLOCK)
• Altitude (ALT)

5.3 Adjusting Settings

The G1 bike computer supports adjustment of ODO, timezone, and measurement units. Refer to the included instruction manual for detailed steps on how to enter the settings menu and modify these parameters. Typically, this involves a combination of long and short presses of the power and mode buttons.

5.4 Auto-Off and Data Saving

When the device is idle for 10 minutes, it will automatically power off to conserve battery. Upon the next power-on, the last trip data will be saved and resumed. If you manually power off the device, the recent trip data will not be saved.

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the screen or casing.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use.
• Water Resistance: While IPX6 rated, avoid submerging the device in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source using the USB cable and try again.
• GPS signal not acquired: Move to an open area with a clear view of the sky. It may take a few minutes for the device to locate satellites, especially on first use or after being off for a long time.
• Inaccurate speed/distance readings: Ensure the device has a strong GPS signal. If readings are consistently off, consider performing a factory reset (refer to the manual for instructions).
• Display issues (e.g., frozen screen): Try restarting the device by holding the power button until it turns off, then power it back on.
• Battery not holding charge: Ensure the charging cable and power source are functioning correctly. If the issue persists, the battery may need servicing.
