4.1 Mounting the Device

The CYCPLUS G1 features a two-step easy installation process:

  1. Secure the bike computer mount to your bicycle's handlebar using the provided elastic band. Ensure it is firmly attached and positioned for optimal viewing.
  2. Align the G1 bike computer with the mount and twist it gently until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Initial Power On and GPS Acquisition

To power on the device, press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or bottom). Upon first use or after a long period of inactivity, the device may take a few minutes to acquire a GPS signal. Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky for faster acquisition.

4.3 Charging the Device

Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the charging port on the G1 and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

The G1 bike computer supports adjustment of ODO, timezone, and measurement units. Refer to the included instruction manual for detailed steps on how to enter the settings menu and modify these parameters. Typically, this involves a combination of long and short presses of the power and mode buttons.

5.4 Auto-Off and Data Saving

When the device is idle for 10 minutes, it will automatically power off to conserve battery. Upon the next power-on, the last trip data will be saved and resumed. If you manually power off the device, the recent trip data will not be saved.
