4. Setup & Installation
Before installation, ensure you have a compatible 12-24V low voltage transformer and low voltage wires (not included in this package).
4.1 Mounting Options
The MEIKEE landscape light offers two primary mounting methods:
Ground Inserted:
- Attach the spike to the bottom of the light fixture.
- Insert the spike firmly into the ground at your desired location.
Wall Mounted:
- Mark the desired mounting position on the wall.
- Drill pilot holes for the mounting screws.
- Secure the light fixture's base to the wall using appropriate screws (not included).

4.2 Wiring Instructions
The landscape light connects to your low voltage wiring system using the provided wire connectors. The low voltage wires from the light are typically red and black. These wires do not require distinguishing between positive and negative poles for AC low voltage systems.
- Carefully divide the main low voltage power cable into two halves at the connection point.
- Insert one half of the power cable into the large cap of the wire connector.
- Screw the pin part of the connector into the power cable, ensuring it pierces the cable insulation to make contact with the conductor.
- Insert one of the light's wires (red or black) through the small cap of the wire connector.
- Screw the small cap into the joint, ensuring the light's wire makes secure contact.
- Repeat steps 2-5 for the other half of the power cable and the remaining light wire.
- Gently pull on the wires to ensure all connections are secure and the wires do not come out.
Note: The low voltage transformer and main low voltage wires are NOT included with this product.

Video 4.1: This video demonstrates the process of connecting the low voltage wires to the landscape light using the provided connectors. It shows how to prepare the wires and secure them within the connector for a proper electrical connection.
5. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and connected to a compatible low voltage transformer, the MEIKEE landscape light will operate according to the transformer's settings (e.g., dusk-to-dawn, timer-controlled, or manual switch). Ensure the transformer is powered on for the lights to function.
Adjusting the Light Angle:
The light head features a 270° adjustable rotation. Loosen the adjustment screw on the side of the fixture, position the light to your desired angle, and then tighten the screw to secure it. This allows for precise illumination of trees, pathways, or architectural features.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your landscape light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the lens and exterior of the fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. Ensure all connections remain secure. Check the ground stake or wall mount for stability.
- LED Lifespan: The integrated LED light source has a long lifespan (50,000+ hours) and is not user-replaceable.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your landscape light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on | No power to the transformer Loose or faulty wiring connection Faulty transformer Damaged light fixture | Check if the transformer is plugged in and receiving power. Verify all wire connections are secure. Test the transformer with another low voltage device. If the light is still not working, contact customer support. |
| Light is dim or flickers | Insufficient power from transformer Loose wiring connection Voltage drop due to long wire runs or thin gauge wire | Ensure the transformer's wattage capacity is sufficient for all connected lights. Check and tighten all wire connections. Consider using heavier gauge wire or shorter runs to reduce voltage drop. |
| Water inside the fixture | Improper sealing or damage to the fixture | Although rated IP66, inspect the fixture for any visible cracks or damage. Ensure all seals are intact. If water ingress persists, discontinue use and contact customer support. |
