Setup

1. Install the Battery

1. Open the back cover of the phone by gently prying it from the notch.
2. Insert the 900 mAh Lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the gold contacts align with the phone's terminals.
3. Replace the back cover, pressing firmly until it clicks into place.

2. Insert SIM Card(s)

The USHINING F240 supports GSM Quad Band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and is compatible with SIM cards from various service providers. It supports dual SIM functionality.

1. With the battery removed, locate the SIM card slot(s).
2. Carefully insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned as indicated on the phone.
3. If using a smaller SIM card, use the provided SIM card adapter.
4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

3. Charge the Battery

1. Connect the Micro USB charger to the charging port on the side or bottom of the phone.
2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
3. Allow the phone to charge fully before first use. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

4. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Call/Power On button (green button) until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the End Call/Power Off button (red button) until the phone shuts down.

Basic Operation

Making Calls

1. Open the flip cover.
2. Enter the phone number using the keypad.
3. Press the Call button to initiate the call.
4. To end a call, press the End Call button.

Receiving Calls

• When the phone rings, open the flip cover or press the Call button to answer.
• To reject a call, press the End Call button.

Sending SMS (Text Messages)

1. Navigate to the "Messages" menu.
2. Select "Write Message" or "New SMS".

1. Setting Up SOS Numbers:
   • Go to "Settings" > "SOS Settings".
   • Add up to 5 emergency contact numbers. These numbers will be called sequentially until one answers.
   • You can also enable an SOS SMS message to be sent to these contacts.
2. Using the SOS Function:
   • In an emergency, press and hold the dedicated SOS button on the back of the phone for a few seconds.
   • The phone will automatically dial the pre-set emergency numbers and send an SOS SMS message.

Speed Dial
