Setup and Installation
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Adjustable Wrench
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Plumber's Putty or Silicone Sealant
- Basin Wrench (optional, for tight spaces)
Pre-Installation Steps:
- Turn off Water Supply: Locate the main water shut-off valves (usually under the sink or at the main water line) and turn them off. Open the existing faucet to drain any remaining water.
- Remove Old Faucet: Disconnect the supply lines from the old faucet and remove any mounting nuts. Lift the old faucet from the sink. Clean the sink surface thoroughly.
Faucet Installation (1, 2, 3, or 4-Hole Sink):
- Deck Plate Installation (Optional): If your sink has 2, 3, or 4 holes, place the deck plate (if desired) over the sink holes. Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the deck plate to create a watertight seal.
- Install Faucet Body: Insert the faucet body through the center hole of the sink (and deck plate, if used). Ensure the faucet is properly oriented.
- Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Hand-tighten the mounting nut, then use a basin wrench or adjustable wrench to fully tighten, ensuring the faucet is stable and straight.
- Connect Supply Lines: Connect the hot and cold supply lines from the faucet to the corresponding water supply valves. Hand-tighten, then use an adjustable wrench to tighten an additional 1/4 turn. Do not overtighten.
- Install Weight: Attach the weight to the pull-down hose, typically at the marked location, to ensure the spray head retracts smoothly.
Soap Dispenser Installation:
- Insert Dispenser: Insert the soap dispenser body through the designated hole in the sink or deck plate.
- Secure Dispenser: From underneath the sink, thread the plastic nut onto the dispenser shank and hand-tighten.
- Attach Bottle: Screw the soap bottle onto the bottom of the dispenser shank.
- Fill Dispenser: Fill the soap dispenser from the top by lifting the pump head and pouring soap directly into the reservoir. No need to go under the sink.

Operation
Water Flow and Temperature Control:
- Turn On/Off: Lift the single handle to turn on the water flow. Push the handle down to turn off the water.
- Adjust Temperature: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water.
- Adjust Flow: The further you lift the handle, the greater the water flow.
Pull-Down Spray Head:
- Extend: Gently pull the spray head down from the spout to extend the hose.
- Spray Modes: The spray head typically features buttons or a toggle to switch between stream and spray modes. Press the button to select your desired water pattern.
- Retract: When finished, guide the spray head back into the spout. The weight on the hose will assist in smooth retraction.
Soap Dispenser:
- Dispense Soap: Press down on the pump head to dispense liquid soap or lotion.
- Refill: To refill, simply lift the pump head from the top and pour soap directly into the reservoir. No need to go under the sink.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the matte black finish.
- Spot Cleaning: For water spots, wipe with a soft cloth.
- Aerator Maintenance: Periodically unscrew the aerator from the end of the spout and rinse out any debris or mineral buildup to maintain optimal water flow.
- Ceramic Disc Cartridge: The faucet features a durable ceramic disc cartridge, which typically requires no maintenance. If leaks occur from the handle, the cartridge may need replacement.
