4. Operating Instructions
The Symphony HiFlo 27 features user-friendly knob controls for easy operation.

Figure 4.1: Close-up of the control knobs.
- Power On: Plug the cooler into a suitable 230 Volt power outlet. Turn the power knob to the 'ON' position.
- Fan Speed Adjustment: Use the fan speed knob to select your desired airflow intensity (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
- Cooling Function: To activate evaporative cooling, turn the 'Cool' or 'Pump' knob to the 'ON' position. Ensure the water tank is filled. The pump will circulate water over the honeycomb pads.
- Swing Function (if available): If your model includes a swing function, activate it to oscillate the louvers and distribute cool air more widely.
- i-Pure Technology: The i-Pure technology operates automatically to filter the air as it passes through the unit, removing pollutants, microbes, and allergens.
- Power Off: Turn all knobs to the 'OFF' position and unplug the cooler from the power outlet when not in use.
4.1 Drain Plug and Overflow Outlet
The cooler is equipped with a drain plug and an overflow outlet for convenient water management.
- The drain plug allows for complete emptying of the water tank for cleaning or storage.
- The overflow outlet prevents overfilling of the water tank by allowing excess water to drain out.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Symphony HiFlo 27, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cooler does not turn on. | No power supply, power cord not plugged in, power switch off. | Check power outlet, ensure cord is securely plugged in, turn power switch to 'ON'. |
| Weak or no cooling effect. | Water tank empty, pump not operating, honeycomb pads dirty, insufficient ventilation. | Fill water tank, ensure 'Cool' function is on, clean honeycomb pads, ensure doors/windows are open. |
| Unusual noise during operation. | Low water level, foreign object in fan, unit not level. | Check water level, inspect fan for obstructions (unplug first!), ensure cooler is on a level surface. |
| Water leakage. | Overfilled water tank, drain plug not secured, damaged tank. | Do not overfill, ensure drain plug is tightly closed. If leakage persists, contact service. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Symphony customer support.
