3. Installation and Setup

3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the dishwasher for any damage incurred during transit. Report any damage immediately to your retailer.
3.2 Positioning and Leveling
Place the dishwasher in the desired location. Ensure it is level to prevent water leakage and ensure proper door closure. Adjust the feet as necessary.
3.3 Water and Electrical Connections
Connect the water inlet and drain hoses according to local plumbing codes. Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts). The cable length is approximately 45 cm.

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective and efficient dishwashing.
4.1 Loading the Dishwasher
Scrape off large food particles from dishes. Load dishes securely, ensuring water spray can reach all surfaces. The dishwasher features foldable supports for glasses and plates, and silver-grey baskets for easy arrangement. The adjustable upper basket allows for accommodating larger items like pots and bowls.

4.2 Adding Detergent, Rinse Aid, and Salt
Open the detergent dispenser and add the recommended amount of dishwasher detergent. Check the rinse aid and salt indicators on the LED control display. Refill these compartments when the indicators signal low levels.

4.3 Program Selection
The GSPE 7413 offers six cleaning programs. Select the appropriate program based on the soil level and type of dishes. Available options include Eco, Quick, and Rinse cycles. Refer to the program chart (usually found inside the door or in a separate quick guide) for detailed program descriptions.
4.4 Delay Start Function
To delay the start of a wash cycle, use the delay start option (3, 6, or 9 hours). This allows you to schedule the wash cycle to begin at a more convenient time.
4.5 Starting and Pausing a Cycle
Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the selected program. To pause a running cycle, press the 'Start/Pause' button again. Close the door firmly to resume the cycle.
5. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dishwasher.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Cleaning the Interior and Filters
Periodically clean the interior of the dishwasher, including the spray arms and filters. Remove the filters at the bottom of the dishwasher, rinse them under running water, and remove any trapped food particles. Reassemble carefully.
5.3 Refilling Salt and Rinse Aid
When the respective LED indicators illuminate, refill the salt and rinse aid dispensers. Use only dishwasher salt and rinse aid.

- Dishwasher does not start: Check if the power cord is properly plugged in and the door is fully closed. Ensure the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Dishes are not clean: Verify that dishes are loaded correctly and not blocking spray arms. Check detergent levels and ensure filters are clean. Select a more intensive wash program if needed.
- Water not draining: Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the filters.
- Excessive noise: Ensure dishes are loaded securely and not rattling. Check for foreign objects in the pump area.
