Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Cecotec PureAroma 550 Connected Aroma Diffuser. This device combines aromatherapy with smart features, including Bluetooth connectivity, an LED display, and a built-in speaker. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

Important Safety Instructions

• Always place the diffuser on a flat, stable surface.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Use only clean tap water or distilled water.
• Do not add more than the maximum water capacity (500 ml).
• Unplug the device before cleaning or refilling.
• Do not block the mist outlet.
• Use only 100% natural essential oils.

Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the diffuser on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface.
3. Remove Cover: Gently lift the top cover of the diffuser.
4. Fill Water Tank: Using the provided measuring cup, fill the water tank with clean tap water or distilled water. Do not exceed the 500 ml maximum fill line.

5. Add Essential Oils: Add 2-3 drops of your preferred 100% natural essential oil directly into the water tank. Adjust the quantity based on personal preference and room size.
6. Replace Cover: Securely place the top cover back onto the diffuser.
7. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the diffuser's power input, then plug the adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The diffuser features an intuitive control panel with an LED display and touch-sensitive buttons.

Basic Functions

• Power On/Off: Press the power button (⏻) to turn the diffuser on or off.
• Mist Mode Selection: The diffuser offers 3 operating modes: Low, Medium, and High. Press the mist button (represented by mist icon) repeatedly to cycle through these modes and adjust the mist intensity. The LED display will indicate the current mode.

• LED Light Control: Press the light button (represented by light bulb icon) to turn on the LED ambient lighting. Press again to cycle through 7 different colors or set it to a random color changing mode. Press and hold to turn off the light.

• Timer Function: Press the timer button (represented by clock icon) to set the operating time. Options include 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, or continuous operation. The device will automatically shut off after the selected time. Maximum timer setting is 12 hours via the app.
• Alarm Function: Utilize the alarm function to set a specific time for the diffuser to activate, providing a scented wake-up experience. This feature is configurable via the mobile application.

Bluetooth and App Control

The PureAroma 550 Connected can be controlled via Bluetooth using a dedicated mobile application, and features a built-in speaker for audio playback.

1. Download App: Search for the "Cecotec" app on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install it.
2. Pairing: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Open the Cecotec app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your PureAroma 550 diffuser.

3. App Features: Through the app, you can:
   • Control mist intensity (Low, Medium, High).
   • Adjust LED light colors and modes.
   • Set precise timers up to 12 hours.
   • Configure the alarm function.
   • Control music playback via the integrated speaker.
4. Bluetooth Speaker: Once paired, your diffuser acts as a Bluetooth speaker. You can play music from your smartphone through the diffuser's speaker.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your diffuser.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the diffuser from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Empty Water: Remove the top cover and carefully empty any remaining water from the tank.
3. Clean Tank: Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar to gently clean the ultrasonic plate at the bottom of the tank.
4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the diffuser with a soft, dry cloth.
5. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
6. Frequency: Clean the diffuser after every 5-6 uses or every 3-5 days, especially when changing essential oils.

Do NOT:

• Use harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
• Submerge the main unit in water.
• Scratch the ultrasonic plate.
