Mini Controller (VIS-MINI-CNTRL)

The VIS-MINI-CNTRL is a compact controller designed for single door access control. It enhances security by housing user credentials and control logic internally, making the external keypad a simple reader. This prevents unauthorized access even if the keypad is tampered with.

The mini controller features a Wiegand 26-37 bits input, allowing it to connect to a wide range of Wiegand readers, including the VIS-3000 keypad and other biometric or keypad readers.

Installation Considerations

For optimal security, the VIS-MINI-CNTRL mini controller should be installed inside a restricted area, such as within the facility or a secure enclosure. Operating Instructions

Adding Users:

  1. Enter Programming Mode: Press * then your Master Code (default is 123456) then #.
  2. Add User Card: Press 1 then present the user card to the keypad.
  3. Add User PIN: Press 2 then enter a 4-6 digit PIN, then #.
  4. Add User Card + PIN: Press 3 then present the user card, then enter a 4-6 digit PIN, then #.
  5. Exit Programming Mode: Press * to exit.

Deleting Users:

  1. Enter Programming Mode: Press * then your Master Code then #.
  2. Delete Single User: Press 4 then enter the user's PIN or present their card.
  3. Delete All Users: Press 5 (use with caution, this will remove all programmed users).
  4. Exit Programming Mode: Press * to exit.

Changing Master Code:

  1. Enter Programming Mode: Press * then current Master Code then #.
  2. Change Code: Press 0 then enter new 4-6 digit Master Code, then #.
  3. Exit Programming Mode: Press * to exit.

Maintenance

The Visionis VIS-3000 and VIS-MINI-CNTRL are designed for low maintenance. Regular cleaning of the keypad surface with a soft, damp cloth is recommended to remove dust and grime. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
