Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the KP-110 from its packaging. Retain all packing materials for future transport or storage. Ensure all accessories, such as the power adapter and music rest, are present.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the included AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the keyboard. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Connecting Peripherals:
    • Headphones: For private practice, connect standard stereo headphones to the HEADPHONE jack.
    • Sustain Pedal: An optional sustain pedal can be connected to the SUSTAIN jack for piano-like sustain effects.
    • USB: Use the USB port to connect the KP-110 to a computer for MIDI data transfer.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

  2. Use the data entry dial or number buttons to select the desired voice category and number. The selected voice name will appear on the LCD display.

Using Rhythms and Auto-Accompaniment

The KP-110 includes various rhythms and an auto-accompaniment feature to provide a full band sound.

  1. Press the RHYTHM button.
  2. Select a rhythm using the data entry dial or number buttons.
  3. Press the START/STOP button to begin the rhythm.
  4. To activate auto-accompaniment, play chords with your left hand in the lower section of the keyboard. The accompaniment will automatically follow your chords.
  5. Adjust the accompaniment volume using the dedicated ACCOMPANIMENT VOLUME buttons.

6-Track Song Recorder

The KP-110 allows you to record your performances on up to 6 tracks.

  1. Press the REC button to enter recording mode.
  2. Select an empty track or the track you wish to overdub.
  3. Begin playing. The recording will start automatically.
  4. Press STOP to end recording.
  5. Press PLAY to listen to your recorded song.

MIDI Connectivity

The USB port on the KP-110 allows for MIDI communication with a computer. This enables the keyboard to function as a MIDI controller for software instruments or to receive MIDI data from a computer for playback.

  • Connect a standard USB cable from the KP-110's USB port to your computer.
