4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the device.
2. Insert two AAA batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.

4.2 Attaching the Lanyard

1. Thread the thin end of the lanyard through the loop hole on the side of the oximeter.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the oximeter has batteries installed.
2. Open the clamp of the oximeter.
3. Insert one finger into the rubber opening of the oximeter, ensuring the finger is placed correctly within the sensor area.
4. Release the clamp.
5. Press the power button once to turn on the oximeter.
6. Keep your hand still during the measurement. Readings will appear on the OLED display within 5-10 seconds.

5.2 Important Notes for Accurate Readings

• Keep your body still during the measurement.
• Ensure your fingers are warm.

5.3 Automatic Shutdown

The oximeter will automatically power off after 10 seconds of inactivity (when a finger is removed from the unit) to conserve battery life.
