This manual provides instructions for the Elekpia replacement remote control, designed for various Element Smart TV models. This remote offers full functionality as a direct replacement, requiring no programming. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure proper use and longevity of your remote control.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use
This Elekpia replacement remote control is designed for immediate use with compatible Element Smart TVs. No programming or pairing is required. Once batteries are installed, the remote is ready to operate your TV.

Operating Instructions
The Elekpia replacement remote control features a standard layout for easy navigation and control of your Element Smart TV. Below are the primary functions:

- Power Button (●): Turns the TV on or off.
- Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select channels.
- Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-): Adjusts the TV's volume level.
- Channel Up/Down (CH +/-): Changes the TV channel.
- Navigation Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Used to navigate menus and confirm selections.
- MENU: Accesses the TV's main menu.
- SOURCE: Selects input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
- EXIT: Exits current menu or function.
- RETURN: Goes back to the previous screen or menu.
- Quick Access Buttons (YouTube, VUDU, Pandora, Netflix): Provides direct access to these streaming applications.
- Playback Controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Skip): Controls media playback.
- INFO: Displays information about the current program or input.
- CC (Closed Caption): Toggles closed captions on or off.
- P.MODE (Picture Mode): Cycles through picture presets.
- S.MODE (Sound Mode): Cycles through sound presets.
- CH.LIST (Channel List): Displays the list of available channels.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Troubleshooting
If your remote control is not functioning as expected, please try the following steps:

How to Reset If the Remote Doesn't Work Directly:
- Remove the batteries from the remote.
- Press each button on the remote for 3 seconds to release any leftover power and check for stuck buttons.
- Insert new batteries, making sure they are facing the right way (+/-).
- If it still doesn't work, unplug the TV from its power source.
- Press and hold the TV's power button for 15 seconds to reset it.
- Plug the TV back in and turn it on.
- Try the remote again.
General Troubleshooting Tips:
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are fresh and inserted correctly.
- Line of Sight: Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared sensor.
- Remote Compatibility: Confirm your Element TV model is listed as compatible. This remote is not for Fire TV or Roku TV models.
- TV Power Cycle: Unplug your TV from the wall outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
