2. Setup and Assembly (Seat Attachment)

This section provides detailed instructions for assembling your EVERCROSS Hoverboard Seat Attachment. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure proper and safe setup.

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully open the packaging box and remove all components. Lay them out to ensure all parts are present, including the kart frame, seat, flag, and various screws, nuts, and tools.

2. Assemble Handlebar to Crossbeam: Fix the handlebar of the kart frame to the crossbeam. Use the provided screws and tighten them securely. Ensure the connection is firm and stable.

3. Connect Frame Parts: Use the lock nut to connect the two main frame parts of the kart. This allows for length adjustment later.
4. Install the Seat: Place the seat onto the kart frame. Secure it by tightening the four corresponding screws.

5. Apply Foam Glue: Glue the foam pads to the contact positions between the kart and the hoverboard. This prevents scratching and ensures a secure fit.
6. Install Velcro Straps: Attach the two Velcro straps to the kart. These straps will be used to bind the hoverboard securely to the kart seat's bottom.

7. Assemble and Attach Flag: Tighten the flag joint with screws. Connect the two flagpole parts using the connector. Then, insert the assembled flag into the designated interface on the kart.

3. Operating Instructions

The EVERCROSS Hoverboard offers two primary riding modes: standing and with the seat attachment. Always ensure you wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads, before operating.

3.1. Hoverboard Operation (Standing Mode)

• Power On: Press the power button to turn on the hoverboard. The indicator lights will illuminate.
• Mounting: Place one foot on a footpad, ensuring the hoverboard is level. Then, quickly step on with your other foot. Maintain balance by keeping your body upright and relaxed.
• Movement: Lean slightly forward to move forward, and lean backward to slow down or move in reverse. To turn, apply more pressure to the footpad on the side opposite to your desired turning direction.
• Dismounting: When ready to stop, slow down to a complete halt. Step off one foot at a time, preferably backward.

3.2. Hoverboard Operation (with Seat Attachment)

• Attaching the Hoverboard: Securely fasten your hoverboard to the seat attachment using the Velcro straps. Ensure the hoverboard is centered and firmly attached to prevent shifting during use.
• Mounting: Sit comfortably in the seat. Place your feet on the footrests.
• Steering: Use the two handlebars to control movement. Push both handlebars forward to move forward, and pull both backward to reverse. To turn, push one handlebar forward while pulling the other backward (e.g., push left forward and pull right backward to turn right).
• Adjusting Length: The kart frame's length can be adjusted by loosening the lock nut, extending or retracting the frame, and then re-tightening the nut. This allows for comfortable use by riders of different heights.

3.3. Safety Guidelines

• Always wear a helmet and protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
• Do not ride on public roads, uneven surfaces, or near traffic.
• Ensure the hoverboard is fully charged before each use.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 220 lbs.
• Avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, or high speeds, especially when learning.
• Supervise children at all times when they are operating the hoverboard or kart.
• Do not operate in wet conditions or extreme temperatures.
